When the band draws from it’s impressive backlog of material, U2 ticket holders are taken on a journey reliving U2’s progression from simple rock band to influential artists. From the album “War” comes “Sunday Bloody Sunday” a personal lament of the Irish conflict. From “The Joshua Tree”, their 1987 release that catapulted the band to the upper echelon of rock, comes “With or Without You” and “I still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For.” This album spawned a motion picture. “Rattle and Hum” that gave moviegoers a small glimpse into the inner workings of the band and what tickets to a U2 concert were all about.
After their huge commercial success, U2 followed with “Acthung Baby”, a departure from traditional rock into alternative and dance music. The album expanded the band’s audience while spawning two Top 10 hits with “Mysterious Ways” and the introspective “One”. U2 tickets became a phenomena as the band set out on their Zoo TV tour. Since that time U2 has released the best selling ‘All That You Can’t Leave behind” and ‘How to Dismantle an Atomic Bomb”, both chart topping albums with distinctive singles that have kept U2 at the forefront of Rock and Roll.
